This Privacy Policy describes how the WattMate application (hereinafter - the Application, we) handles your information. WattMate is a battery charging power meter application: it measures and displays your device's charging power, battery level, and related statistics. All of your measurement data stays on your device. We do not require an account, we do not operate our own servers, and we do not sell your data. The free version of the Application shows ads; a one-time remove-ads purchase removes them.
1.1. All of your data — charging measurements, battery statistics, charts, preferences, and app settings — is stored locally on your device using the device's local storage. This data is not uploaded to any server of ours and is not accessible to us.
1.2. The Application works entirely locally: measuring, calculating, and displaying charging data does not require an Internet connection.
1.3. Deleting the Application from your device deletes all locally stored data, including your measurement history and settings.
2.1. To do its job, the Application reads battery and charging information (such as battery level, charging state, current, and voltage) through the operating system's standard battery interfaces. This information is used only to display measurements in the Application and is never transmitted off your device by the Application itself.
2.2. On Android, the Application requests the Internet permission, which is used only to load ads and to communicate with Google Play Billing for purchases. The Application does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files.
3.1. The free version of the Application displays ads served by Google AdMob, including banner ads and ads shown when the Application opens. AdMob may use the device's advertising identifier and information about the ads you see to deliver and measure ads.
3.2. You can control ad personalization through your device's advertising settings (for example, by resetting or deleting your advertising identifier). Purchasing the remove-ads option disables ads entirely.
3.3. Google processes this data according to its own privacy policy.
4.1. The Application offers a one-time in-app purchase that removes ads. The purchase is processed by Google through Google Play Billing. We never see your payment details — purchase information is handled by Google according to its own privacy policy.
4.2. The Application checks your purchase status with Google Play (for example, to restore the remove-ads entitlement after reinstalling). No information beyond what Google Play Billing provides is collected.
4.3. Because it is Google Play's responsibility to resolve refund issues, we may share anonymous information about your use of the Application with Google LLC in connection with refund requests.
6.1. Your measurement data and settings live only on your device and are retained until you delete them or remove the Application.
6.2. Google and its advertising and billing services retain data according to their own retention policies and the settings of your Google account; please refer to Google's privacy policy for details.
7.1. The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8.1. Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's operating system security, including device encryption when enabled. The Application does not transmit your measurement data over the network.
9.1. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is posted on this page, and the date of the latest revision is indicated at the top. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
10.1. If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact us through Google Play, from which you downloaded the Application: use the contact options on the Application's store listing. Refund requests are handled directly by Google Play.
